The casinos were faced with a dilemma. They could keep on losing and go out of business, or find a way to beat the Card Counters. The casinos beat the Card Counters hands down by using many more decks of cards, and by using Shuffling Techniques that produced Non-Random Card patterns. In addition,  card pick up procedure in conjunction with crowded conditions  causes card clumping.  The results of these changes, and others, becomes evident if you play casino blackjack.
