The world of blackjack is filled with many myths, contradictions, and just plain lies. The casinos feed your ego with their marketing tactics. There are countless books on blackjack by the "experts". The underlying theme that is reflected in most books is that today's game can be beaten by memorizing a set of predetermined Card Play decisions, and by applying these decisions to the casino environment. The Card Play decisions that are so prevalent in every blackjack book were calculated on a computer years ago based on single deck games. The major flaw that many have overlooked is computers do not deal the cards in the casino, people do, with Multiple Decks (i.e., four, six, and eight deck games). In plain English, Basic Strategy, as we once knew it, does not work in multiple deck games. Have you ever played a game of
blackjack and watched the dealer make five and six card hands time after
time? At table after table, night after night...it's not standard
deviation!!! Casinos deal Non-Random Cards. In simple terms low
cards will tend to follow low cards more than they statistically should,
and high cards will tend to follow high cards more than they statistically
should. Casinos will do everything they can to perpetuate this statistical
irregularity, WHICH PLACES THE CONVENTIONAL BASIC STRATEGY BLACKJACK PLAYER
AT A HUGE DISADVANTAGE. However, the educated "BLACKJACK 101" player can
visually observe the table and draw conclusion by anticipating the Down
Card of the dealer, and also has aid in anticipating his hit
card.
Basic Strategy is the term used for a predetermined set of Card Play decisions that are the basis of traditional blackjack theory. Basic Strategy is available to everyone, Basic Strategy players, in conjunction with card counting, were reaping millions of dollars from the casinos in the late seventies. It gave them a one percent advantage and was available to every person who could read, memorize, and count to ten. Every bookstore in the nation had a blackjack book. The casinos were faced with a dilemma. They could keep on losing and go out of business, or find a way to beat the Card Counters. The casinos beat the Card Counters hands down by using many more decks of cards, and by using Shuffling Techniques that produced Non-Random Card patterns. In addition, card pick up procedure in conjunction with crowded conditions causes card clumping. The results of these changes, and others, becomes evident if you play casino blackjack. You are not unlucky. You are
the victim of Non-Random Cards. Luck is not the cause of the casino's
fortuity; it's Non-Random Cards. The foundation of BLACKJACK 101 is
precisely using the casino's greatest tactic against them! BLACKJACK 101
is based upon what occurs in today's casino, not what
should happen during a computer analysis of a single deck game or computer generated,
random multiple deck game. BLACKJACK 101 considers all the
components of the game. Almost every blackjack book on the market is based
on computer simulation predicated upon random ordering of the cards. This
condition does not exist in a real casino. | ||
